Ordering & Pickup Process

  4. 4Vendor confirms your order and prepares items
  5. 5You receive notification when items are ready for pickup
  6. 6Visit the market on pickup day
  7. 7Find the food truck and present your order details
  8. 8Food Truck verifies you and your order number
  9. 9Vendor hands you your items
  10. 10Both you and food truck confirm the handoff

The Pickup Confirmation Step

After the vendor hands you your items:

  1. Tap "Acknowledge Receipt" in your app
  2. Vendor confirms on their end within 30 seconds
  3. Both see a green confirmation screen

This protects both you and the vendor by ensuring both parties agree the handoff happened.

What If Something Goes Wrong?

  • Items missing? Tap "I Did Not Receive This" instead of confirming
  • Wrong items? Work it out directly with the vendor at the booth
  • Vendor not at market? Check the market schedule and vendor contact info on your order

Order Flow & Pickup Process

Why Confirmation Matters

  • Payment transfer is not initiated until both parties confirm
  • If you don't confirm within 30 seconds, you'll see an urgent prompt
  • After 8 hours, other actions are blocked until you resolve the pending confirmation
  • This protects both you and your customers

Best Practices

  • Stay at your location during operating hours
  • Have your phone charged and app open
  • Confirm handoffs immediately — don't wait
  • Verify the buyer and the order number before handing over items
  • If there's an issue, tap "Report Issue" instead of confirming

Payment Timing

  • Payment transfers are initiated after both parties confirm
  • Track your payouts and financial details in your Stripe Dashboard
  • You can track order statuses on your vendor dashboard

Pickup Guide

Step-by-step for both parties

Buyers

  1. Open your order details
  2. Present your order information to the vendor
  3. Verify you received all items
  4. Tap "Acknowledge Receipt"
  5. Wait for vendor to confirm (30 seconds)
  6. Green screen = you're done!
  7. Don't leave until you see the green screen

Vendors

  1. Check your dashboard for ready orders
  2. When buyer arrives, verify the buyer and the order number
  3. Hand over all items
  4. Wait for buyer to confirm
  5. When notified, tap "Yes, I Handed It Off"
  6. Green screen = payment transfer is initiated
  7. Never let buyer leave without both confirming

Cancellation Policy

What happens when plans change

Before Vendor Confirms

Free Cancellation

Cancel before the vendor confirms your order for a full refund. The first hour after placing your order is always penalty-free, regardless of vendor status.

After Vendor Confirms

25% Cancellation Fee

Once the vendor has confirmed your order and the 1-hour grace window has passed, a 25% fee applies. This compensates the vendor for prep time and reserved items. You receive a 75% refund.

Cancel as early as possible if your plans change. Vendors prepare items specifically for your order.
